    Telemarketing Question

Hi guys. Thanks for all the help.

I hired a telemarketer to cold call for FE leads. Now I'm over thinking it.

Should I have them call 8 hrs a day and get leads for me to call back?

Call 8 hrs on mon, wed and fri to set next day appointments?

I guess I could have them do both

Any advice on this would be appreciated

No rules on when and how long to call. Depends on their stamina and your bank roll.

As for setting final expense appointments, you have them do that on the initial call (if they can).

    Femi,

Congratulations on being able to hire a telemarketer for cold calling. Not many agents can find the funds to do that. I do have a few agents doing their own cold calling and it seems to be working well with them, but it is time consuming.

Since I've been able to secure a deal for my agents of getting them set up with a dialer (unlimited time) and lists (unlimited lists) for only $99 a month, more and more of my agents are trying it out.

Update on my telemarketing for leads.

    8hrs of calling 9-5
    4 leads

Not bad. The only thing that went wrong, is he set some of the appointments to call them. Thinking I'm still going to go to the door. All appointments are set for Wednesday. I'll update on tomorrows calls for you guys as well. Any direction on this would be appreciated.

I wouldn't hesitate showing up out their house rather than calling them. Just say it was a misunderstanding .... they will usually let you in the door.

    But, anyway, great job!

    Femi,

I think your math in your game plan is very spot on. Of course it never works out exactly, but I'm suspecting you'll see very good results!

How did you get your list to call? Is it a targeted list? Like from infoUSA? I am new to this forum and business and I would appreciate any help I can get. I would also like to know if you are having any success with the cold calling. I am wary about purchasing mailers. Thanks!
